Exterior wall insulation board construction process
1. First, deal with the base layer of the wall. If the flatness does not meet the requirements and the error exceeds 4mm, the wall should be leveled with cement mortar first.
2. After leveling, brush the interface agent, and after it is completely dry, install the fixing parts, stick the insulating board firmly, and then install it. Drill holes in the corresponding positions, and the anchoring depth can reach 50mm. Prepare the number of fasteners and tighten them with self-tapping screws.
3. The unevenness of the insulation board joints should also be polished. After sanding, use a brush to clean the surface dust, apply an interface agent on the insulation board, and press the mesh cloth at the same time. After the mortar is dry, apply polymer mortar with a thickness of about 1mm, and the total thickness should be controlled at 3mm.
4. After the above steps are completed, clean the wall surface to complete the entire construction process.
5. There are many kinds of external wall insulation materials. When purchasing, you should know whether there are relevant signs, whether they are clear, and clearly indicate the manufacturer, trademark, date, etc. Its quality also needs to be considered. The quality of the excellent material will be lighter, but it does not affect its thermal conductivity. The lower the thermal conductivity, the better the thermal insulation performance. It is also necessary to consider whether it has waterproof and fireproof performance, because the insulation material has to reach Class A. Buy this material if it burns easily, otherwise, a fire will break out and the fire will spread.
