The sound insulation effect of light steel villa
As a new architectural model, steel villas are not well understood by many people. They are inferred from previous experience. We might think it would have poor sound and thermal insulation, which is a property of metal.
But that's not the case. Its soundproofing system is perfect. The wall and floor of the light steel system building are composed of two independent pipe bridges, and the square pipes are only intermittently connected by V-shaped joints below 2mm. The heat transfer channel is weak, which basically cuts off the thermal bridge, making the inside and outside of the building two independent thermal circulation systems that do not interfere with each other. The square tube (rectangular tube) of the hollow mechanism interferes and weakens the sound transmission. Filling rock wool in the gaps of bridges has good vibration isolation and sound absorption functions, preventing the intrusion of external noise and disordered vibration.
In order to meet the comprehensive requirements of air sound insulation and impact sound insulation, glass wool can be filled between the inner and outer walls and the joists of the floor to prevent the audio part from being transmitted through the air. Filling with glass wool can further improve the air sound insulation effect of its structure. Above 50dB, it can meet the living requirements before the light steel villa adopts the envelope structure treatment.
